People will long forget what you said, but they will always remember how you made them feel.

Hello all you wonderful people out there! Yup, it’s me… a real life human being. That’s what I want you to know from this page. I am human- and you are too. And because of that, I want you to feel a connection from the pages that you are navigating on here. Always know that I have your best interests, wants and desires in my heart. This is your story, I’m just thankful I can play a small part in it.

Am I a good fit for you?

Are you a good fit for me?

You should hire me if…

  • You prefer candid emotional moments instead of super formal and staged photos (looking at the camera all the time).

  • You love Black and white images- because I do, and I include a handful of them in every wedding album I deliver.

  • You are go with the flow and okay with letting go of controlling the timeline to a tee- you want the day to flow naturally and prefer to let moments “just happen”.

  • You appreciate the details, and want me to capture everything- invitations, ceremony and reception set up, shoes, dress- the whole shebang.

  • You love natural light photos and the outdoors. ***if you are getting married indoors, you are getting married in a space that offers and abundance of natural light :)

  • You like photos that capture movement

  • You find romance in photos that aren’t perfectly sharp

  • You will do what ever it takes to get the photo!

  • You can trust my creative direction.

  • You want to have fun and laugh, a lot.

We probably aren’t a good fit if…

  • You prefer to have traditional, looking at the camera, staged photos.

  • You prefer all of your photos to be in color, and don’t like black and white images.

  • You don’t care so much for the details.

  • You don’t prefer photos that focus on feeling and prefer more traditional photos.

  • Photos that focus on landscapes aren’t your thing.

  • You like the idea of giving me a shot list, like your Pinterest board and want exact poses copied..

  • Your ceremony is indoors and there is no natural available light.

You reached out… Now what?

You’ll get a warm welcomed email, just from me. I’ll ask you questions, get a better understanding of what it is you are looking for and we can either set up a time to chat over the phone or meet up for coffee if your heart desires… I love coffee dates too by the way :)

You’re ready to book… YAY!!!

I know how personal it is to choose a photographer. That’s why I take it so seriously and am so honored when you decide that I am the one for you. I’ll send you a customized quote outlining all the steps on how to book and pay as well.

Let the fun begin

Now, it’s time to plan. I’ll be sending you a few questionnaires to help me better prepare for you as well as helpful guides that I’ve created just for you to help you with things like “What to Wear”,- (For your engagement session) “The Bridal Guide” and “The Groom’s Guide”. I’ll be there every step of the way to make sure your story is just how you imagined it.

The time has come, you’re now in front of my camera… EEK!

Take a deep breath in… and let it out. I’ve got y’all. We are going to go through a variety of poses, we will role play- yes I said it… We will role play, but most of all, we are going to have fun. I may ask you to do things like run, or dance but also know- we are going to get the very raw and real moments. The ones where I may even become a third wheel with how close I am to you… But know this, some of the moments we cherish most don’t happen standing 10 feet away- they happen right in front of you.

Let me work my magic

Now, post production flow takes place. I go through each image and select the best ones for your gallery. I edit them myself while I listen to music. I listen to music when I edit because they say that music is food for the soul. I truly believe this. Some of my favorite bands to listen to while I edit are Jamestown Revival, Need To Breathe, The Steeldrivers, Chris Stapleton and any Country/Bluegrass playlist. Once my editing workflow is through, I upload them into your online gallery and deliver them just for you.
