FAQs

Do you have a cap on how many weddings you take each year?

Yes, I take on 10-15 weddings per year so that I am able to dedicate the time needed for each of my couples and their wedding days

Do you have Liability insurance?

Yes, and I can provide a COI if the venue needs it/requires one on file.

Will you travel?

Absolutely- YES!!

Do you require couples you work with to hire a wedding planner?

Yes, I do- and there is a good reason for it. When you are planning your wedding day, you want to be able to enjoy the process and if you are the one planning your wedding, you become the main point of contact for all vendors and it can become very stressful very quickly. Your photographers work hand in hand with wedding planners to create a seamless timeline for your wedding day and when a planner is not involved, your photographer tends to become a mini planner and that becomes to many hats too wear both for you and your photographer. This is the reason why I require a planner (or day of coordinator). Let me focus on giving you the best photo experience, while your planner can focus on the best overall experience.

How far out do you book weddings?

Typically 12-18 months. It can vary, but generally I book out with in this range.

What is your retainer fees/ Payment schedule?

For weddings, payments are broken up in to 3 payments. a 40% retainer AND a signed contract is due upon booking to reserve your date. The next payment is due at the half point to the wedding day (typically 6 months out) and the the final payment is due 30 days prior to the wedding. For portraits sessions, a 50% retainer AND a signed contract is due upon booking. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before the session.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Online via credit card is the preferred method of payment, I do not charge any credit card fees. If you need an additional way to make payments, please contact me directly!

What happens if i cancel?

I understand that life happens, in the event that you do have to cancel your wedding photography services or portrait services with me, the retainer fee and any money paid up until the point of cancellation is non-refundable and does stay with me to cover time spent planning your day with you, lost bookings due to the date being reserved and expenses incurred. I will also send you a cancellation contract that releases me from arriving to the original contracted date with no additional penalties from that point on.

What is your typical turn around time for images?

Turn around time for portrait session galleries is 4 weeks and wedding galleries are 12 weeks. This is to ensure that the appropriate time is given to each gallery to ensure quality. I will share sneaks along the way on my social platforms to keep you excited to see your final images.
